Problem

Although NWU encouraged faculty members to create interactive learning environments, related professional training was not available through the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at NWU. Also, the existing trainings were created only by media and graphic designers at CTL and lacked additional staff to develop the training. CTL has requested the MindBenders team to systematically design a training in mobile learning using realities in order to broaden NWU faculty members’ teaching skills.

Solution

Following the ADDIE model, the Mindbenders team designed a comprehensive plan for the blended-learning traning and created online modules using Storyline and Rise.

This design plan includes performance assessment, learner analysis, resource audit, estimated cost, project management plan, facilitator guide, program evaluation plan, and more (see the design document below).
