From being a certified teacher to a college instructor and a learning designer…

How did I start my career as an instructional designer?
The short answer – it all began with learning design experiences where I discovered my passion, finding my stride when I was able to bring my love of creating, teaching, and learning together.
Looking back, I had a creative spirit and love for people in all my professional endeavors. Whether I was working as a certified teacher, college lecturer, researcher, and instructional designer, I was self-motivated to create something that could inspire and empower individuals, in a degree to where always I went further than minimum (see some of my creative works here). During my graduate studies in the Learning, Design, and Technology program, I got to encounter serendipitous opportunities where I could collaborate on various online learning design projects with institutions, companies, and subject matter experts to design online training for adult learners. The positive feedback I received from ID projects fueled my desire to fully utilize my creatie sie and pply my ID knowledge.
When I was working as a certified teacher in Korea, I loved creating captivating learning materials that could motivate learners, including gamified PPT slides, online workbooks, and microlearning videos. I always shared most of them in the biggest online community for Korean teachers (indischool.com), and it gained a hit.
I viewed being an educator as a huge privilege, as I was in a position where I could deliver a message that could make a positive impact on an individual.
